O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT, is seeking a JD Edwards Developer to join our team. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into accurate application specifications collaborating with stakeholders and key business analysts
• Design, create, implement and maintain integrations between JD Edwards and other systems in an API first strategy
• Write, test and implement programs using JD Edwards One Tools and other support toolsets, including EDI
• Write stable, reusable code conforming to JD Edwards and Microsoft Teams coding styles and standards
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to JD Edwards development and support activities
• Customize existing JD Edwards applications to enhance functionality

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of recent JD Edwards development and support experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of JD Edwards development tools (OMW, RDA, FDA, Orchestrator and API development)
• Experience with upgrades, migrations, and 3^rd party integrations
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical mindset
• Technical skills such as SQL is a plus
